Hello peoples,

the Forum used to import the latest STEAM-News by itself in past directly.

News about Gameupdates, new Releases and so on were imported into this Section of the Forum and came to our attention by this way.

However, it's broken since some days and I found some spare time to have a look on this issue now.

Here we go:

Valve just decided to change the related XML-Feed's now in a way that seems to be incompatible with our Forum.

They changed the related Feed Adresses, splitted the Channel into two "STEAM News" & "Game Releases" and changed something in background.

A neutral Feed-Validator gives me the follwing Information:
"This feed is valid, but interoperability with the *widest range of feed readers." *including our own RSS Importer

This changes will have effect on many sites and im hoping that they will take the required steps and turn the changes back. I will keep an eye on this and hope for a change.

You still can read all News directly on the STEAM News Section.

I will create another Subforum and look for an alternate Feed to get some (more general) IT-News imported here meanwhile. :-)
